This is one of the worst apps on the App Store. The app is replete with bugs. It crashes every single time I use it. That is not an exaggeration. The company is amazing. The app is the worst. They really need to fix the app. The positive reviews of the app are completely misleading and will not aid in them investing in improving the app. If you download the app and it is buggy for you, please write an honest review of the APP so that they can fix it.
The app is kinda bad but I can’t complain when there is free shipping
Each product only opens to a blank page. Things don’t load. I’ve successfully ordered with this app countless times over the years but recently it’s a pain trying to look up items in the store. I’m deleting it now, maybe in the future I’ll check if it gets resolved.
First and foremost, the errors when returning to the app need to stop. We Google product details while shopping. The annoying problem is my cart will often show “empty” when it’s actually filled with products, forcing me to log out and back multiple times just to shop—it’s exhausting! Also, DARK MODE, please! After a long 12+ hour workday, many of us will do our shopping late at night, and the last thing we want is to stare at a bright white screen.

You can often times find shops that pop up out of nowhere and list gear as new and have lower prices than B&H but I’d rather pay list price and have confidence I’m getting new gear from a retailer that wont steal my identification or sell my info to other scammers.

Frustrating as about everytime I go to use this app it fails to load the page and then it just blanks and you can't see anything.
This app is terrible. It constantly lags and crashes, making it extremely unreliable — especially during critical moments like film shoots. On top of that, the way the company operates is confusing and stressful to deal with. It feels like there’s no real customer-focused approach. Please, update this buggy app and take user experience seriously. We need something stable and professional, not something that adds more stress.
I’ve had a really hard time getting items from B&H due to their unreliable shipping. The delivery times are inconsistent, and the process is often delayed without clear communication. It’s disappointing to deal with these shipping issues, especially when ordering time-sensitive equipment. Definitely reconsidering future purchases.
This app consistently crashes when you swipe away to another app and come back — both on iPhone and iPad. We use a B2B account, so there may be some session or verification issues involved, but this has been a problem for over a year now. It’s clearly a bug, yet it still hasn’t been addressed. It’s incredibly frustrating when you’re in the middle of researching or shopping, switch to check something else, and return to a blank, unresponsive screen with your entire session gone. Please fix this — it seriously impacts usability.
Just got my new Obsbot Tail 2 and needed a Micro SD card. Selection is fantastic many SD cards to choose from. Selection made and checkout was smooth as silk, bing, bang, boom!
I’ve been buying from B&H for about 20 years. Never been disappointed. Consistently great service. Excellent technical advice. Fair price. Fast delivery. No wonder they are a giant in the industry.d
BH is good store but this app is not user friendly. I browse products using filter. I move away to other app and comeback in few minutes. It reloads the screen and all my filters are gone. This happen numerous times and is very annoying, I have to do my filters again and again. Please stop reloading. The only time you need to reload is when user swipe down the screen, or when user close the app. If user didn’t close the app or turn off screen, you shouldn’t reload.

Makes BH my go to for photo gear. 8.16.21 I still find it a good way to shop and purchase from BH by Quick way to shop BH when on an iPad or iPhone 8.30.18a good way to keep up with the status of orders The tracking numbers are all here with one touch tracking.

I don’t know what happened with the last update or two, but the app freezes all the time now, making it near unusable. If I jump to another app real quick (such as a password manager, browser, etc.) the whole thing is greyed out when I pull it back up, and again… frozen. Happens on multiple devices with the latest OS and on multiple networks, so it’s def the app.

This app on iPad keeps coming up with a ball and circle to calibrate the screen. It’s mostly unusable.
Beware buying from November-January where supposedly there’s a return window exactly like amazons (90 days). Except, B&H will not take back your item if you don’t have the original packaging (unlike Amazon). Customer support was useless and pointed toward the generic return policies despite having return windows extended. Never return things to B&H, they’re very petty and difficult and customer service doesn’t bother to work with you
ApplePay does not work on both iPhone and iPad apps. Always the same error message about an “Invalid Zipcode”. ApplePay does work on the website.

B&H is always on their game. They continue to have excellent pricing, and you can always count on their used equipment to be in excellent shape based on the grading system that they use. Their next day delivery always comes in on time and I’ve never had any equipment damaged and I’ve never had to swap out anything. Their staff is extremely professional and they always answer questions quickly in a meaningful manner. If you’re in need of camera equipment, you should give B&H an opportunity to provide you the things that you need.
This app in my mind has been built on the same Standards as the Company itself. Always user friendly,always informative. What is NOT to like about B&H.

I realize it would entail each manufacturer to provide a product shot on black background, but a true Dark UX is badly needed in 2025 and makes the App UI look dated. Also when scrolling for new products in a dark studio shoot, a bright white screen is rather noticeable to coworkers ;)
The UX of the app is great. It’s easy to navigate and intuitive. However, the app seems to have trouble maintaining its state when suspended. Switching to another app and then back again (to reply to an iMessage, etc.) often results in B&H hanging on a blank white page or resetting back to home page. This happens on both iPad Air 2 and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Also, B&H really needs an option to stay logged in. I’m constantly promoted to log in again even when just adding wishlists.
B&H’s app is a train wreck. It’s much easier to just use their website, -even on your phone. This app is so extremely buggy and the user experience is horrible. This is so extremely out of line for B&H, it’s as if this app was a second thought and likely gets very little resources.

I have purchased from B&H for many years: MAC computers, Canon photography equipment, and many related accessories. They are always reliable and their customer service is excellent. They are my go-to place for electronics. Highly recommend!
B&H is a proud store that has been in business for many years. I will always buy my products from BNH. They have been good to me and upstanding.
Since day one I have seen things I never thought of. My ‘scope arrived when they said it would and all the same day. One box had a hole about an inch wide but just the outter box the inter box wasn’t damaged. I appreciate the fast service and look forward to doing more business with the folks at B&H in the future. Believe me there will be a lot more of it. Thanx guys.
Functions fine but not having dark mode in 2025 is completely unacceptable. I just use the website instead until the app gets updated with dark mode.
I buy my electronics and camera equipment from B&H. I get their extended warranty options, which on rare occasions has paid off with them replacing the faulty item. This purchase is a 4TB WD internal Thunderbolt drive without heat sink, which is my 4th over 3 years: with no flaws.
I would like to commend B&H for a super fast service. I really love your doing business. Good job!
For some reason, first time this ever happened to me after years of successfully dealing with B&H, had a horrible account update and checkout experience. Wouldn’t take edits, app crashed, had to reenter info multiple times.
